Hello all,

Just joined up after browsing for a bit. Needed a bit of extra cash so started to look at online opps, saw match betting 2 weeks ago, about 500 profit so far so that's working out pretty good. Got caught up in a tricky offer on one site where I kept having lay larger and larger amounts to get the money out but all worked out in the end!

Anyway just thought i'd say hi, and I'll keep looking on the forum for other online opportunities, I work FT though and have family so I think that cuts out things like mystery shopper. Just stuff I can do with the odd hour here and there online every day. Was considering writing a course to put on udemy/teachable.

Hi Wesley and welcome. That's a really good result with the matched betting you doing great. I don't do it myself but lots here do. I'm happy doing passive apps and some surveys gets me about £150 a month.
Have a look around, and feel free to ask questions, everyone is friendly and helpful.
Good luck and keep earning those easy free pennies.

Hi @Wesley if you're working FT then best to prioritize what you do to make sure you're getting the best return for your time, MB definitely top of my list.

Hi @Wesley and welcome, there's always some idea from TMS that you can use even when you are working full time and I agree with @MuckleMaker just prioritize and you'll be fine, you are already doing well with MB :) Goodluck

Thanks everyone.

Yes, quickly realising that not everything is worth the time, a lot of the survey sites seem to offer very little value. I've registered for Leapforce, and I'm really interested in blogging/affiliate marketing. Seems everyone has a different view on that, some say there's no money in it but clearly there are people on this site that make a good living out of it.

I started a blog ages back on google blogger (https://chetonto.blogspot.co.uk/) - I'm a school teacher and sometimes the situations I'm in are so ridiculous it helped to blog about it. Never considered monetising it and not sure the content is really be suitable for that anyway, it was more a bit of stress relief for me.

NOTE: No real names used in the blog

There probably is mileage in it if you cover more broader topics around a childs education (of all ages!)

You'd need to look at hopping off blogspot and going self hosted in the long term and a LOT of PRs will only touch sites which have full control over their content which obviously you don't if your blog is hosted with Google.

Take a look at our beginners guide to blogging toolkit which takes you from setting up a blog to earning money from it - might give you a few ideas ;)
